  7. CONACT is a complete accounting package for the construction industry.  It is
  8. a modification of the SBT Accounting Series and includes general ledger,
  9. payroll, purchase orders, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job
  10. costing.  CONACT can be used by general contractors or subcontractors in any
  11. branch of the construction industry.  It has the capability to do AIA
  12. invoices, both in the Summary or SubContractor format and the G702-703
  13. version.  Retainage can be automatically calculated and tracked for accounts
  14. payable and accounts receivable.  The Job Cost Master file can be updated
  15. while posting payroll data and while posting invoices in accounts payable.
  16. Certified Payroll Statistics can be tracked and reported in the Payroll
  17. module.  Multiple local tax rates within the same pay period are supported.
  18. The Job Cost module has a job estimating capability using the model job
  19. concept.  It supports most industry standard project coding systems which
  20. require up to six characters in the project code and five characters in the
  21. sub-code.  A five character phase code can be assigned to each sub-code as
  22. well as a two character sub-code class.
